I want you to get the most benefits from this challenge that you can, so check your form by these guidelines:
•You can do the altar on your palms or you may choose to do this posture with your forearms on the floor - taking the weight off your hands and wrists.
•You may also remain on your knees at first, if that is easier. Your body will become stronger with practice.
•Come onto all fours with your hands under the shoulders, fingers spread apart.
•Straighten one leg, and then the other.
•Lower the hips slightly, keeping your body in a straight line - from the back of your head to your heels.
•Keep your head in a neutral position, looking at the floor.
•Yes, breathe gently and do not hold your breath.
